Welcome to the ALOHA HOTEL nestled in the wind-free south end of sunny Palm Springs, California, in the Tahquitz River Estates! We are located in a sheltered cove at the foot of the San Jacinto mountains adjacent to the Tahquitz Canyons.
Established in 1947, we were the first hotel in the Palo Verde Estates, as we are located on South Palm Canyon at Palo Verde Avenue, 1080 South Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, California. 92264.

Aloha Hotel Palm Springs, an eleven unit boutique hotel, is the jackpot for Mid Century architecture! Do you like architecture? You will find home tours of the old Hollywood stars are almost as abundant as those of architectural tours. During the month of February each year there is even special ten day homage to Modernism Week, an event packed week with weekends on both ends full of parties and tours. Spanish and even Hawaiian style architecture can be found.

We can accommodate your party of 1 up to 40 at the historic Aloha Hotel Palm Springs! Bring your family and your friends, or tell no one and come by yourself. Get away: you deserve it! We can arrange your tours, hikes, bike rides, dinners, as well as visits to surrounding areas. We are open year round and we are one phone call or click away: Scroll up to the "RATES" tab, click, and at the bottom of that page submit your inquiry. We will contact you within 24 hours or call us!

For example, if there are 20 guests in your party, you could rent a combination of rooms, for a total of 8 rooms! The pool side area has a large cabana and a barbecue adjacent. We have an area for a band and/or DJ poolside. There would be an additional charge for visiting guests for a day pass for your event. This is a great place to host an event all year long including summer.

If you would like to be poolside for day use, we offer that as well. A fabulous day could include a hike at Tahquitz Canyon, Palm Canyon, or Murray Canyon, in the early morning with the rest of the day relaxing by our new pool.

Plenty! Downtown Palm Springs is only 1 mile from Aloha Hotel Palm Springs where you will find the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Spa Resort Casino.You can walk or bicycle to restaurants and shopping in downtown or east of our property to the Smoketree shopping area. Smoketree Stables, nearby, offer horses  and tours to Bob Hope's house.

If you are looking to eat in great restaurants, such as Pinocchio's, with bottomless mimosas all day Sunday, or Lu-Lu's, happy hour all day and night, or dance the night away in the clubs, downtown is close at hand! World famous Zelda's is less than two blocks away. The Pub is four blocks away. Stay for one night (a quick get away), or enjoy an extended stay for a week, or a month in a poolside suites with a kitchenette. You will return again and again to explore and revisit once the Aloha Hotel becomes your hide away. There is something about the desert that will lure you back as so many have for decades.

Shopping is available downtown from eclectic shops that carry many items you will not find anywhere in the world as well as Palm Springs branded products such as tee shirts, hats, and mugs. You will also find a large assortment of celebrity oriented memorabilia depicting the many celebrities who called Palm Springs their home. Walk to the center of downtown and have your picture taken under the 26 foot tall Marilyn Monroe statue last seen in Chicago. If you want some of the more nationally recognized labels try the nearby Cabazon Outlets and or the Shops of El Paseo, the Rodeo Drive of the desert, both a 20 minute drive from Aloha Hotel Palm Springs!

Palm Springs has several shops that cater to stylish clothes and pop clothes. Try Marianne of Palm Springs (which in years past had a Beverly Hills location). Trina Turk and Mr. Turk has hip clothes from famous designer Trina Turk or Design Wil Stiles also located on Palm Canyon, all steps away from Aloha Hotel Palm Springs, the new SoPS destination! A new mall is proposed to open by fall of 2014, another well kept secret!

Our salon is open by appointment, so you may decide on a quick haircut OR have the members of your party coiffed for your event. The make-up artist, model, from Hollywood can transform your look or prepare you from head-to-toe for your photo shoot. Yes, you could have any event here you choose. We also offer photo shoots on our property with a professional photographer or bring your own!
